Whitehorse Dental Clinic Inc has been in business for over 40 years. We have seasoned dentists with in-depth experience in general and restorative dentistry. Our Dentists
Dr. Colin Nash was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon. Dr. Nash graduated from F. H. Collins in 1994. After graduation, he attended the University of Alberta where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology. He continued his studies to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004. Dr. Nash then moved back to Whitehorse and joined Dr. Jacob at Whitehorse Dental. If Colin is not at work, you can find him at the rink where he is either coaching his children in hockey or playing his own game of recreational hockey.
Dr. Stephen Jacob received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Windsor in 1992. He continued on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia in 1996. After graduation, Dr. Jacob moved to Whitehorse and joined the practice of Whitehorse Dental. Dr. Jacob has been at Whitehorse Dental for the past 24 years. He is active in the community with his children or playing music.
Dr. Paulos Seyoum obtained his Dentistry degree from the University of Bologna in 2005. After that, he worked in the Orotta National Medical-Surgical Referral Hospital in Asmara, Eritrea, before relocating to Canada. He then completed the Qualifying Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 2017. After graduating, he began practicing general dentistry by providing comprehensive care to adults and children. He provides a wide range of treatments which include dental restorations, smile restorations, root canal treatment, dental surgery including wisdom teeth extractions, implants, crowns and bridges, dentures, preventive care and more.
Moreover, Dr. Seyoum has Whitehorse General Hospital dental privileges and provides dental treatments for eligible patients in the hospital. He is glad to be in the Yukon Territory and serve the Whitehorse community. When he is not at the office, Dr. Seyoum loves to read, volunteer with non-profit organizations and explore natural sights with his family.
Dr. Nash and Dr. Jacob along with Dr. Jason Otterbein purchased Pine Dental Clinic in March 2019. Our dentists operate the two clinics. Whitehorse residents are very fortunate to have these four caring dentists working together to provide quality service to our community.
Hygienists
Preet Gill RDH was born in India and moved to Surrey, BC as a teenager. Preet attended the Canadian College of Dental Health where she graduated as a Dental Hygienist. In 2006, she moved to Whitehorse.
Dasom Lucia Gray RDH obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta and later attended Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene. In 2016, she moved to Whitehorse and started working at Whitehorse Dental. If Lucia is not at work, you can find her on the trails or travelling the world.
